Joaz Gomes da Silva was born on September 6, 1962, in Recife. Since showed little interest in drawings, but only from the 90\'s, started her career in art, while making training and expertise in visual art in various art schools in Pernambuco, among the schools the Institute of Technical Culture (ICT) and the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE), which had a higher degree of learning with foreign teachers, in addition to the Training Centre of Visual Arts (SEFAVI). Joaz today is a painter, sculptor, and art teacher, usually often give lessons in his studio for youths from age 12 to age good. It has held numerous exhibitions and won several awards.
